Open Rank Faculty Position in Biomechanics of Movement
The Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) seeks applicants for a position at either the tenure-track or tenured rank level in Biomechanics and Movement, with an expected start date of July 1, 2022. We are seeking scientists and engineers with an interdisciplinary approach focusing on Biomechanics of Movement, broadly defined. Some example areas of interest include, but are not limited to: (1) understanding sensorimotor control in normal and pathological movement and how the body regulates movement; (2) developing new sensing or imaging approaches that enable measurement of muscle and tissue mechanics in vivo; (3) understanding physical and biological mechanisms of musculoskeletal structure and function; (4) applied research in motor disorders;
