Research Assistant Professor - Mechatronics Engineering
Research Assistant Professor-Mechatronics Engineering is a 12-month tenure track, 100% research position with a focus on applications of mechatronics engineering for the development of advanced farm machinery suited for small-scale farmers.  Research should lay emphasis on how small and minority farmers may benefit from advanced and affordable agricultural technology that focuses on minimizing inputs and maximizing profitability, and sustainable farming practices.  Expected candidate should have a background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer control, and information technology with expertise in mechatronics to seamlessly lead the effort of developing robotic solutions for existing precision agriculture research programs at Central State University.  Responsibil
