Job Summary: This is advanced professional engineering work in reviewing environmental resource permits and complex compliance and enforcement permits.   Job duties include: Reviews the engineering portion of the larger and/or more complex applications for Environmental Resource Permits (ERPs) and Sovereign Submerged Lands (SSL). Provides assistance as needed in the review of Consumptive Use Permits (CUPs).  Responsibilities include reviewing construction plans/drawings, calculations, data, legal documents and hydrologic modeling to determine if projects meet District criteria for water quality and flood protection; preparing technical staff reports and letters; conducting pre-application meetings including meeting to assist c
