We are seeking 2 qualified Field Engineers to manage projects across the eastern US. You will facilitate installations of soil nails, tie backs, retaining structures, and miscellaneous innovative geohazard repairs while keeping GeoStabilization International's 3 primary goals in mind: Safety, Quality, and Production.
Provide on-site project management and engineering support as an integrated part of the construction team
Conger with construction, operations, and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations
Troubleshoot and rectify operational problems that occur
Communicate both written and verbally with the PM and Engineering staff regarding design changes and approvals
Document as-built conditions, material quantities, and construction progress to support superintendents
Perform Slope investigations through steep terrain, high rope access, and rappelling
Perform soil and rockfall modeling, mitigation, and field implementation
0-2 years of experience in geotechnical or construction engineering
Master of Science degree in Engineering with emphasis in Geotechnical or Construction Engineering Preferred
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering combined with experience may be considered
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, AutoCAD and slope stability software (for example, SLIDE) preferred
Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and list up to 80lbs.
Work in weather conditions that can be physically demanding
Extensive field time is required and you will be traveling an average of 90% of the time
